Art Carey, who serves as FAW
publicity chairperson, attended the
University of Michigan and
UCLA. He is a former newspaper reporter and copy
editor. After retiring as Journalism instructor at
San Jose City College, he has kept busy writing
humor, science fiction, detective, horror, and fantasy
short fiction, together with several unpublished novels.
His work has appeared in Internet and print
