| Bundled against Arctic
winds, we trudged the many miles to the safe and warm
home of Bob and Kathy Garfinkle. We were greeted there
by the attending members of the Fremont Area Writer's
Club to celebrate the last get-together of the year, to
feast on fine foods, to sing songs (don't worry, the
police were not called), to feast on more fine foods, to
tell a Round-Robin story, to eat even MORE fine foods,
and to exchange gifts (some of which were...erm... fine
foods).
The evening was warm and
convivial. Old friends chatted happily and new
friends were made. We missed the members who could
not attend.

to our hosts, and everyone who worked to make this party
successful.
